Cedar Grove Elementary. Learning to Achieve.
Cedar Grove Elementary School was constructed in order to establish a new suburban feeder pattern and relieve the strain being placed on the system’s existing elementary school. Construction began at the same time as Centennial Lakes Elementary School, however, encountered a lengthy and expensive pause when a population of the rare green salamander was discovered on the acreage. The total cost of the school, after two years of construction, came to $17 million dollars. Cedar Grove Elementary School has a capacity of 1200 students grades k-5, and included on the campus are 2 technology labs, a music and an art room, a large gymnasium, a cafetorium, and an expansive media center.
